Mechanical Engineer

About the company:

We are partnering with a multidisciplinary engineering firm in Denver that is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to its team. The group brings together mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver building system design across a broad mix of projects, including residential, healthcare, education, and commercial work.

What you'll be doing:


  • Support the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for a range of building projects

  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation

  • Assist with load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts

  • Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines

  • Take part in project meetings with architects and broader project teams

  • Contribute during design development and construction document phases

  • Produce and update drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools

  • Help manage project timelines and deliverables

  • Work with senior engineers on system design and technical reviews

  • Support construction phase work, including RFIs and submittal reviews

  • Continue developing knowledge of codes, standards, and HVAC design practices



What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • EIT certification

  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or building systems design

  • Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software

  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong communication skills

  • Multifamily residential experience is a plus
