What you'll be doing:
Support the design of buildings and miscellaneous support structures under the guidance of licensed structural engineers
Assist with structural analysis, calculations, and design documentation
Review construction documents, plans, specifications, and shop drawings
Help develop engineering solutions that meet current codes and industry standards
Collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Build problem-solving skills while working on a variety of structural systems and project types
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, completed or within 3 months of graduation
0-2 years of structural engineering experience
Academic focus on structural design coursework
EIT certification, or ability to obtain within one year
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with RISA, STAAD, or similar structural analysis software preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit preferred
