Senior Project Manager
About the company:
We're partnering with a contractor in New York City that specializes in exterior restoration, including facade repairs, waterproofing, and historic preservation. Their work spans all boroughs, with a steady backlog of municipal and commercial projects.They’re now looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager to help lead project delivery and support upcoming work.
What you'll be doing:
Leading multiple exterior restoration projects from bid through closeout
Managing project teams, subcontractors, and site activity across different boroughs
Overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and overall project delivery
Coordinating with clients, owners, and consultants throughout each project
Handling change orders and navigating NYC permitting processes
Monitoring project performance including budgets, timelines, and profitability
Ensuring safety standards, scaffold compliance, and quality across facade systems
Carrying out site visits, progress reporting, and closeout documentation
What we're looking for:
7+ years of experience in construction or restoration project management
3+ years in a senior level role focused on exterior or facade work
Strong knowledge of NYC DOB permitting and local union labor environments
Experience working on projects involving work at height and scaffold operations
Familiarity with facade systems including waterproofing, masonry, and restoration
Certifications such as OSHA 30, PMP, or scaffold and rigging safety are a plus
Proficiency with tools like PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and project tracking platforms
Comfortable leading field teams and managing multiple active projects
