A bit about you:
At least 8 years of relevant plumbing design experience, or a 2-year technical degree plus 6 years of experience
Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard design tools
Solid understanding of plumbing codes, system layout, and equipment selection
Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and with external partners
A bit about tasks:
Translate architectural drawings into plumbing system designs using modeling software
Develop layouts, perform load calculations, and select equipment to meet design requirements
Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, and other disciplines throughout all project phases
Support site observations, review shop drawings, and assist with clash detection in tools like Navisworks
Communicate with contractors during bidding and construction to answer design-related questions
