A bit about you:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
5+ years of experience designing mechanical systems in commercial buildings
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) — required
Strong understanding of mechanical schematics, systems, and industry codes
Proficient in design tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, or ROHR2
Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills
Able to travel occasionally (up to 10%) and conduct site visits as needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
A bit about tasks:
Lead mechanical engineering efforts on small to mid-size complex projects
Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating across disciplines
Develop specs, cost estimates, designs, and documentation for mechanical systems
Represent the firm in design and construction meetings
Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and quality
Stay current with codes, standards, and industry best practices
