Senior Mechanical Engineer

The portfolio covers industrial, education, commercial and institutional buildings which means plenty of variety in work. You'll have the autonomy expected at senior level while being part of an experienced engineering team with long-standing clients and a steady project pipeline.
What you'll be doing:
Lead mechanical design across a range of building projects
Take projects from initial design through construction and completion
Coordinate mechanical systems with other MEP disciplines
Review drawings, specifications and engineering calculations
Review technical submissions and shop drawings
Coordinate with consultants, contractors and subcontractors
Ensure designs meet relevant codes and project requirements
Keep projects aligned with schedules, budgets and quality standards
Resolve technical issues throughout design and construction
Communicate with clients and wider project teams
Support and guide less experienced engineers
What we're looking for:
5+ years of MEP engineering experience
Strong mechanical building systems design experience
Experience delivering projects through multiple stages
Ability to lead and coordinate project work
Strong understanding of relevant codes and engineering standards
Confident communication and client-facing skills
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
PE license is preferred
Experience across industrial, education, commercial or institutional projects would be beneficial
