What you'll be doing:
Lead and manage the Charlotte office’s engineering department
Oversee all phases of land development projects from inception through completion
Ensure projects meet technical specifications, budgets, and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement best practices and quality control measures
Manage construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and inspections
Serve as Engineer of Record on projects
Foster strong client relationships and support business development efforts
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
PE License required
7+ years of experience in land development design
Direct experience in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County market preferred
Strong understanding of site design, cross-discipline coordination, and regulatory requirements
Proven leadership and client management experience
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
