What you'll be doing:
Lead bridge design, rehabilitation, and load rating projects
Carry out structural analysis and prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents
Design highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation structures
Coordinate with clients, transportation agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams
Review technical work completed by junior engineers and provide mentorship
Support bridge inspections and field assignments when required
Help manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control
Take part in client meetings, proposals, and business development activities
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. Master's degree preferred
5+ years of bridge or transportation structures experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license required with Minnesota licensure, or the ability to obtain it
Experience with bridge design, rehabilitation, structural analysis, or load rating
Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD and MnDOT design standards
Experience using MicroStation and bridge analysis software
Strong communication and project coordination skills
Bridge inspection or NBIS experience is a plus
