Senior Associate - Enclosure

Their teams are trusted to step into projects at any stage, offering clear, practical advice to help clients decide what to do next.

They are now looking to bring on a Senior Associate to lead building enclosure investigations, manage projects, and work closely with clients across a range of property types.

What you'll be doing:


  • Lead building enclosure investigations from initial assessment through final reporting and repair strategy

  • Carry out and oversee site visits, testing, and detailed field investigations

  • Review construction documents to identify causes of failures or defects

  • Prepare clear, well supported reports with repair recommendations and cost considerations

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and delivery across multiple assignments

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and build strong working relationships

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Support proposals, scopes, and budgeting as part of business development efforts

  • Work closely with consultants on drawings, specifications, and bid documents

  • Help grow the building enclosure practice in the Seattle market



What we're looking for:


  • Degree in Architecture or Engineering

  • Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer required

  • 15+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction

  • Experience with forensic or investigative building enclosure work is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of facade systems, waterproofing, roofing, and cladding

  • Solid understanding of how projects are built and administered on site

  • Comfortable writing detailed technical reports and repair scopes

  • Familiar with tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

  • Able to travel locally and regionally when needed
