What you'll be doing:
Leading, mentoring, and developing the design team while maintaining design standards
Producing and reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical reports
Conducting site assessments, forensic investigations, and system diagnostics
Serving as a technical advisor to clients and internal teams
Coordinating with project managers, field staff, contractors, and stakeholders
Supporting proposal development, project planning, and long-term service strategies
Ensuring all deliverables meet code requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
What we're looking for:
8–15+ years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, or building-envelope design
Strong expertise in roofing system detailing, material selection, and construction documentation
PE license, RRC, or RRO preferred, or the ability to obtain
Proven experience leading teams or managing complex technical projects
Experience with commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with owners and contractors
