What you'll be doing:


  • Design and develop mechanical systems for healthcare, education, high-rise, and other sectors, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client requirements

  • Collaborate with project teams to create coordinated and efficient mechanical designs using Revit and other tools

  • Perform system load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping design, and detailed layout of mechanical systems

  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other documentation for project submittals

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery within project scope

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure the installation of mechanical systems aligns with the design

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting with technical challenges and solutions


What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on healthcare, education, high-rise, or similar sectors

  • Proficiency in Revit and other mechanical design tools

  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems design

  • Familiarity with local, state, and national building codes and standards

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
