What you'll be doing:
Design and develop mechanical systems for healthcare, education, high-rise, and other sectors, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client requirements
Collaborate with project teams to create coordinated and efficient mechanical designs using Revit and other tools
Perform system load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping design, and detailed layout of mechanical systems
Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other documentation for project submittals
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery within project scope
Conduct site inspections to ensure the installation of mechanical systems aligns with the design
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting with technical challenges and solutions
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on healthcare, education, high-rise, or similar sectors
Proficiency in Revit and other mechanical design tools
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems design
Familiarity with local, state, and national building codes and standards
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
