What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with Senior Project Leaders on schematic designs, focusing on mechanical and electrical room sizes and requirements
Develop designs and construction documents from initial concepts
Guide and mentor Entry-Level Designers and Senior Designers, providing oversight and feedback on their work
Prepare design specifications and participate in key company-wide projects like BIM and Standards
Lead trade coordination, executing complex tasks such as mechanical and electrical room layouts
Attend construction meetings, generate observation reports, and conduct inspections
Coordinate clearances with other design professionals and select project details
What we're looking for:
Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience
EIT/PE license preferred, but not required
Strong desire to eventually lead projects and project teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and passion for mentoring junior staff
