What you'll be doing:
Lead project teams and manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
Prepare deliverables including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications
Attend client meetings and coordinate efforts between internal and external teams
Apply engineering judgment and techniques independently, guiding projects from concept through construction
Design mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling
Assemble and develop effective project teams, assign tasks, and manage workflows
Oversee interdisciplinary coordination and ensure projects meet building codes and mechanical industry standards
Review engineering calculations and equipment selection
Conduct site visits and prepare reports
Mentor and provide guidance to staff
Update master specifications and standards while improving company processes
Develop and maintain client relationships
Oversee project quality management plans
Serve as Project Manager or Engineer of Record when applicable
Take on additional responsibilities as needed
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering in your discipline
Relevant professional credential (PE)
1-3 years leading mechanical projects or 6-10 years related experience
Ability to inspire and motivate a team, while serving as a technical resource
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and ability to communicate design options clearly
Skilled at assembling and managing project teams
Strong delegation, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and AutoCAD
