What you'll be doing:


  • Lead project teams and manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

  • Prepare deliverables including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications

  • Attend client meetings and coordinate efforts between internal and external teams

  • Apply engineering judgment and techniques independently, guiding projects from concept through construction

  • Design mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling

  • Assemble and develop effective project teams, assign tasks, and manage workflows

  • Oversee interdisciplinary coordination and ensure projects meet building codes and mechanical industry standards

  • Review engineering calculations and equipment selection

  • Conduct site visits and prepare reports

  • Mentor and provide guidance to staff

  • Update master specifications and standards while improving company processes

  • Develop and maintain client relationships

  • Oversee project quality management plans

  • Serve as Project Manager or Engineer of Record when applicable

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed



What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in your discipline

  • Relevant professional credential (PE)

  • 1-3 years leading mechanical projects or 6-10 years related experience

  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, while serving as a technical resource

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and ability to communicate design options clearly

  • Skilled at assembling and managing project teams

  • Strong delegation, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and AutoCAD
