Mechanical Engineer
About the company:
If you're looking for more variety in your mechanical engineering work, this is an opportunity to build experience across commercial, healthcare, institutional and residential projects rather than being tied to one market.

You'll work alongside other engineering and architectural disciplines while building toward more senior technical and project management responsibilities.
What you'll be doing:
Design HVAC and mechanical systems across a range of building projects
Perform heating and cooling load calculations
Select and size mechanical equipment
Develop mechanical drawings and specifications
Coordinate designs with architectural and engineering disciplines
Ensure designs meet relevant codes and project requirements
Participate in client meetings
Attend site visits and assess existing conditions
Support projects throughout construction
Assist with construction administration and technical queries
Take increasing ownership of project delivery as your experience develops
What we're looking for:
4+ years of mechanical or HVAC engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong understanding of HVAC systems
Knowledge of relevant building codes and engineering standards
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
Experience producing drawings and technical documentation
Comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
EIT or PE certification preferred
More reasons to apply:
Work across healthcare, commercial, residential and institutional projects
Build experience across different building types
Take increasing ownership of mechanical design
Work alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineers
Gain greater client and site exposure
Develop both your technical and project delivery skills
Progress toward senior engineering responsibilities
Opportunity to move into project management as your career develops
