This engineering consultancy delivers large scale building projects across the US and internationally, partnering with architects, developers, universities, and public sector clients across healthcare, education, commercial, and government sectors. Known for their collaborative approach and long standing client relationships, they’re now looking to add experienced Mechanical Engineers to their LA team to help lead complex projects from start to finish.
What you'll be doing:
Leading mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction
Managing client communication and coordinating with internal teams
Supporting the growth of the local office and engineering department
Overseeing the design and coordination of complex mechanical systems
Contributing to business development activities and client relationships
Mentoring junior team members and supporting project delivery standards
Working across commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, and government projects
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2-5 years' experience in a related field
PE or EIT required
LEED accreditation is a plus
Strong Revit MEP and AutoCAD skills
Experience designing and coordinating mechanical systems
Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems
Previous project management and client facing experience
Ability to lead projects and support junior staff
