What you'll be doing:
Taking on hands-on mechanical design work across a variety of building projects
Designing HVAC and plumbing systems in line with current codes and standards
Working in AutoCAD and Revit to produce coordinated design documentation
Managing multiple tasks and priorities across active projects
Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and other disciplines
Supporting and influencing the continued growth of the Los Angeles office
Gradually taking ownership of projects with increased responsibility over time
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer license preferred
5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems
Working knowledge of mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes
Exposure to energy modeling tools such as EnergyPro or similar software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self motivated, organized, and comfortable managing priorities
Team player who contributes to culture as well as project delivery
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
General understanding of AEC industry practices and terminology
