What you'll be doing:
Lead and review mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Establish design standards, details, and BIM workflows for the office
Mentor project teams and provide QA/QC oversight
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors during design and construction
Conduct site surveys, construction observations, and support RFIs, submittals, and OAC meetings
Contribute to business development and proposal efforts
What we're looking for:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a PE license
10+ years of experience designing and delivering HVAC, building mechanical systems, and central utility plants
Experience across sectors such as healthcare, government, commercial, manufacturing, or education
Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems design, calculations, construction methods, and analysis tools
Proficient in Revit/BIM, QA/QC drawing reviews, and Microsoft Office; specification writing is a plus
Collaborative, client-focused, and organized problem-solver
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills
