Landscape Construction Project Manager

About the company:

A well respected landscape construction company is looking to hire a Project Manager to oversee field operations and manage projects from pre-construction through completion. The position offers a strong mix of leadership, project management, and hands on involvement in the field. They are looking for someone who can lead crews effectively, maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams, and keep projects running on schedule and within budget.

What you'll be doing:


  • Managing landscape construction projects from pre-construction through completion

  • Leading and supporting 2-4 field crews and foremen across multiple job sites

  • Keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards

  • Coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics

  • Monitoring productivity, job progress, and daily crew performance

  • Communicating with clients throughout the project lifecycle and handling questions or issues professionally

  • Managing change orders, project updates, and job documentation

  • Tracking project costs, production rates, and overall profitability

  • Supporting hiring, training, and development of field staff

  • Maintaining safe, organized, and professional job sites

  • Assisting with site walks, estimating, and pre-construction planning when needed

  • Supporting winter operations including snow removal or crew leadership during off-season



What we're looking for:


  • 5+ years of experience in a landscape construction leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction, hardscape, irrigation, grading, and related work

  • Experience managing crews, schedules, budgets, and multiple projects at once

  • Ability to read and interpret landscape and construction plans

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Clear and confident communication skills with both clients and internal teams

  • Comfortable working in the field while also handling project management responsibilities

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
