Landscape Architecture Team Leader

This multidisciplinary consultancy is continuing to grow its planning and landscape architecture practice and is looking for a leader who can help drive the next stage of that growth. You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, lead a talented team, and play a key role in shaping projects across a wide range of public and private sector developments.
It's a role that combines leadership, project delivery, and business development with the support of an established multidisciplinary business.
What you'll be doing:
Lead and develop a team of landscape architects, planners, and design professionals
Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
Support business development and help grow the landscape architecture practice
Lead complex projects from site analysis and master planning through construction documentation and delivery
Prepare proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations
Work closely with engineers, architects, planners, and environmental specialists
Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
Oversee project budgets, resources, and delivery while maintaining high design standards
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or a related discipline
Professional Landscape Architect registration with Virginia licensure preferred, or the ability to obtain it
Around 10-15 years of professional experience
Strong leadership and business development experience
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects from concept through construction
Strong understanding of landscape architecture, site planning, and construction documentation
Experience preparing proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, GIS, and Microsoft Office
