Landscape Architect / Project Manager
About the company:
Some senior roles take you further away from design. This one doesn't. You'll be joining an established landscape architecture studio where senior team members remain closely involved in the creative and technical work.
The portfolio includes high-end residential landscapes, luxury hospitality, urban rooftops, amenity spaces and institutional projects. There's a strong emphasis on thoughtful design and detailing, giving you the opportunity to lead sophisticated projects while still having a genuine hand in what gets built.
What you'll be doing:
Lead landscape architecture projects from concept through construction
Remain hands-on throughout design development
Manage project teams, schedules and deliverables
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Coordinate consultants and contractors
Develop grading plans and technical details
Oversee construction documentation and administration
Stay involved on site throughout construction
Resolve design and technical issues as projects progress
Mentor and support junior designers
Help maintain a consistently high standard of design across the studio
What we're looking for:
8+ years of landscape architecture experience
Proven experience managing projects and design teams
Strong design and technical capabilities
Experience taking projects from start to finish
Confident client-facing and consultant coordination skills
Experience with high-end residential or luxury hospitality projects would be particularly relevant
Urban rooftop, amenity or boutique commercial experience would also translate well
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
Rhino, Lumion or other 3D visualization experience would be beneficial
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline
Professional licensure would be an advantage
Strong planting knowledge is preferred
