What you'll be doing:


  • Conduct forensic investigations and structural condition assessments across a range of building types

  • Analyze structural failures, material behavior, and performance issues to determine root causes

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, findings, and expert recommendations

  • Perform on-site investigations, testing, inspections, and documentation

  • Coordinate with clients, legal teams, insurance professionals, and project stakeholders

  • Support project scoping, proposals, and ongoing client relationships

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development



What we're looking for:


  • 5+ years of structural engineering experience

  • PE license required

  • Experience with forensic investigations, diagnostics, or structural assessments preferred

  • Strong background in concrete, steel, wood, and masonry design and analysis

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering strongly preferred

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

  • Comfortable managing projects independently while collaborating closely with teams and leadership

  • Experience conducting field investigations and structural inspections
