What you'll be doing:
Conduct forensic investigations and structural condition assessments across a range of building types
Analyze structural failures, material behavior, and performance issues to determine root causes
Prepare detailed technical reports, findings, and expert recommendations
Perform on-site investigations, testing, inspections, and documentation
Coordinate with clients, legal teams, insurance professionals, and project stakeholders
Support project scoping, proposals, and ongoing client relationships
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development
What we're looking for:
5+ years of structural engineering experience
PE license required
Experience with forensic investigations, diagnostics, or structural assessments preferred
Strong background in concrete, steel, wood, and masonry design and analysis
Master’s or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering strongly preferred
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Comfortable managing projects independently while collaborating closely with teams and leadership
Experience conducting field investigations and structural inspections
