What you'll be doing:
Design electrical building systems across a range of projects
Take ownership of technical design tasks from concept through delivery
Oversee and review work completed by junior engineers
Ensure designs meet relevant codes, safety requirements and engineering standards
Coordinate with internal design teams and external project partners
Develop practical solutions to technical engineering challenges
Conduct site visits and inspections
Prepare reports and project documentation
Support projects throughout design and construction
Contribute to technical training and the development of junior team members
What we're looking for:
4+ years of electrical engineering experience
Experience designing electrical systems for buildings
Strong understanding of relevant codes and engineering standards
Ability to take ownership of technical design work
Experience supporting or mentoring junior engineers would be beneficial
Strong communication and coordination skills
Comfortable working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
PE license or EIT certification preferred
Previous healthcare or hospitality experience would be useful but isn't essential
