What you'll be doing:
Plan and design electrical systems for a range of MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting layouts, and low voltage systems
Partner closely with mechanical and plumbing engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver coordinated and code compliant designs
Perform technical calculations such as load studies, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and energy efficiency reviews
Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates
Conduct site visits and field inspections to confirm installations align with design intent
Stay current with NEC requirements, local codes, and emerging technologies in the industry
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer license preferred or actively working toward licensure
3+ years of experience in MEP electrical design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools such as SKM, ETAP, or similar software
Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and relevant local regulations
Clear communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
