What you'll be doing:
Design electrical and lighting systems for a variety of building types
Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports
Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines on project design and execution
Lead projects and coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
Support occasional site visits and provide guidance during construction
Contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team
Assist with business development and marketing efforts
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
7-12 years of electrical engineering experience in consulting
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required - Texas PE license preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical and lighting design
Experience with electrical modeling software like SKM or ETAP
Medium-voltage distribution, generation, and protection systems experience preferred
Familiarity with electrical and energy codes (NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc.)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar design software preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Willingness to travel occasionally
