What you'll be doing:
Maintain a database of qualified subcontractors and suppliers, and conduct prequalification
Lead project pre-bid activities, including attending meetings and managing bid day operations
Coordinate with outside trade organizations and develop relationships with subcontractors
Manage online bid solicitation and update the database with proposed and awarded subcontractors
Prepare project management turnover documents to ensure a smooth transition to the project team
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Estimator with a commercial general contractor
Experience estimating commercial projects valued from $5M to $30M+
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and tools such as Microsoft Project or Procore
Ability to meet tight deadlines with a focus on accuracy
Strong communication skills and the ability to take on leadership responsibilities
