Building Envelope Project Manager

If you know the NYC façade and restoration market, this is an opportunity to take on more ownership without losing access to experienced technical leadership.
You'll join an established engineering consultancy with a long history of delivering façade restoration, roofing and building envelope projects across New York. With a strong backlog of work and an experienced team around you, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own projects while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
What you'll be doing:
Manage façade restoration, roofing and building envelope projects
Lead FISP / Local Law 11 inspections and related assignments
Support PIPS and parking structure inspections where required
Manage project schedules, budgets and documentation
Coordinate with building owners, contractors and consultants
Oversee construction administration throughout project delivery
Carry out field inspections across NYC and surrounding markets
Work closely with senior leadership before progressing into greater project ownership
What we're looking for:
8-10 years of building envelope or façade restoration experience
Strong knowledge of FISP / Local Law 11
Experience with façade restoration and roofing projects
PIPS or parking garage inspection experience is highly desirable
QEWI and/or QPSI certification would be a strong advantage
Good understanding of the NYC restoration market
Comfortable independently managing projects and client relationships
Able to commute to the Bayside office when not working in the field
