Accident Reconstruction Specialist/Forensic Engineer

It's the kind of role where you'll spend as much time solving problems in the field as you will analysing evidence back in the office. Every case is different and every investigation brings a new challenge.

What you'll be doing:


  • Investigate vehicle collisions and transportation incidents

  • Visit accident scenes and collect physical evidence

  • Analyse vehicle damage, road conditions, event data, and supporting information

  • Reconstruct collisions using engineering principles and specialist software

  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and technical findings

  • Work directly with attorneys, insurers, law enforcement, and corporate clients

  • Use drones, laser scanners, and other technology to document investigations

  • Provide expert witness support when required



What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in accident reconstruction, forensic engineering, or transportation engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain one

  • ACTAR certification is an advantage

  • Experience investigating vehicle collisions or transportation incidents

  • Familiarity with PC-Crash, HVE, FARO Zone, Virtual CRASH, or similar software

  • Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills

  • Comfortable travelling for site investigations and client meetings
