A bit about you:
5+ years of experience in fire protection design/engineering
PE license or ability to obtain
Proficient in Revit and BIM software
Strong understanding of fire protection and life safety systems
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across disciplines
Detail-oriented with experience in system calculations and creating specifications
A bit about tasks:
Participate in the design and review of fire protection and life safety systems on multi-discipline projects
Coordinate with and support other A/E disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery
Engage in design review meetings and workshops to align with client goals and project needs
Assist in preparing comprehensive fire protection packages, including fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety
Create detailed specification documentation for fire alarm and suppression systems
Perform fire suppression and alarm systems calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance
