A bit about you:

  • 8+ years of experience in energy engineering, with expertise in energy audits, energy efficiency projects, and energy management

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, and delivering large-scale energy projects

  • Strong understanding of energy policies, energy modeling, and building systems (HVAC, steam heating, chilled water plants)

  • Familiarity with NYC local laws, energy regulations, and building codes

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers in a fast-paced environment

A bit about tasks:

  • Lead energy audits, commissioning (RCx), and the preparation of engineering documentation

  • Oversee project development, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution

  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and promoting new business opportunities

  • Provide strategic direction on energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability initiatives

  • Analyze building systems (HVAC, lighting, steam heating) to recommend operational improvements for energy savings

  • Review and approve technical documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications produced by junior engineers
