A bit about you:
8+ years of experience in energy engineering, with expertise in energy audits, energy efficiency projects, and energy management
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, and delivering large-scale energy projects
Strong understanding of energy policies, energy modeling, and building systems (HVAC, steam heating, chilled water plants)
Familiarity with NYC local laws, energy regulations, and building codes
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers in a fast-paced environment
A bit about tasks:
Lead energy audits, commissioning (RCx), and the preparation of engineering documentation
Oversee project development, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution
Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and promoting new business opportunities
Provide strategic direction on energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability initiatives
Analyze building systems (HVAC, lighting, steam heating) to recommend operational improvements for energy savings
Review and approve technical documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications produced by junior engineers
