What you'll be doing:
Serve as Lead Plumbing Engineer on multi-discipline design teams delivering HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for healthcare, higher education, institutional, government, and commercial projects
Produce design and construction documents and specifications as Engineer of Record
Conduct evaluations of plumbing systems and generate design calculations and assessments
Develop design documents using REVIT and AutoCAD
Observe construction progress and assess existing system conditions in the field
Manage budgets, schedules, and technical quality for plumbing design tasks
Collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical focus from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in North Carolina with active NCEES record
3 to 4 years of experience in healthcare facility plumbing design
Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and applicable design codes
Proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
