A bit about you:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
10-15 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems
Registered as a Professional Engineer or Architect (PE), or willing to obtain licensure in multiple states
Extensive experience overseeing engineering projects through all phases of development
A passion for mentoring and training junior engineers and team members
A bit about tasks:
Lead the design and technical execution of mechanical systems for high-tech facilities, including data centers, airports, and aerospace projects
Oversee the design and selection of HVAC systems, central HVAC plant systems, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle
Mentor and train mechanical engineering staff, providing guidance on best practices, project management, and technical expertise
Delegate design responsibilities to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff, ensuring quality and efficiency
