A bit about you:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution

  • 10-15 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or Architect (PE), or willing to obtain licensure in multiple states

  • Extensive experience overseeing engineering projects through all phases of development

  • A passion for mentoring and training junior engineers and team members

A bit about tasks:

  • Lead the design and technical execution of mechanical systems for high-tech facilities, including data centers, airports, and aerospace projects

  • Oversee the design and selection of HVAC systems, central HVAC plant systems, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle

  • Mentor and train mechanical engineering staff, providing guidance on best practices, project management, and technical expertise

  • Delegate design responsibilities to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff, ensuring quality and efficiency
