Senior Fire Protection Engineer

What you'll be doing:
Work closely with architects and engineers to develop complete fire protection and life safety packages
Design fire alarm and mass notification systems
Develop fire suppression systems including wet and dry sprinklers, pre action systems, foam systems, clean agent systems, standpipes, and fire pump systems
Build smoke control and stairwell pressurization systems
Perform building code and life safety code analysis
Review existing water supply utilities and conduct hydrant flow tests
Evaluate existing buildings and identify fire protection deficiencies
Travel as needed for projects within the US and overseas
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection
10+ years of fire protection experience in an architecture and engineering environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of building and life safety codes
