Senior Electrical Engineer - Facility Assessment Specialist

What you'll be doing:
Lead facility assessments across a large, multi-site portfolio
Evaluate building systems and gather detailed, accurate data
Produce clear, actionable reports to support strategic planning and resource decisions
Work with project teams to set assessment goals and criteria
Apply proven methodologies to collect, analyze, and present assessment findings
Prepare Improvement Plans that prioritize upgrades and renovations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform design, cost estimating, and scheduling
Provide technical guidance to support decision-making throughout projects
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer with significant facility assessment experience
10-15 years of relevant industry experience, ideally including public sector or government projects
Familiarity with NYS OGS processes is a plus
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and evaluating different facility types
Exceptional communication skills, able to present technical findings clearly to a range of stakeholders
Highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in assessment methods and reporting
Familiarity with the Uniformat Group II classification system is a bonus
