A growing multidisciplinary design and planning firm in Jacksonville is looking for a Senior Architect to join the team. This is a chance to work across a varied project portfolio alongside planners, landscape architects, and designers in a collaborative studio environment. What you'll be doing:
Lead architectural projects from early concept design through construction documentation and delivery
Guide schematic design phases and help shape the overall direction of projects
Turn client goals, site opportunities, and project requirements into clear, functional design solutions
Work closely with internal teams across planning, landscape architecture, and design
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and local agencies throughout all project phases
Oversee drawing production, technical documentation, and project coordination to maintain quality and accuracy
Support presentations, design narratives, entitlement packages, and other client materials
Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
Manage multiple projects and priorities while keeping timelines and client expectations on track
Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture
What we're looking for:
Professional degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect preferred, or currently working toward licensure with the ability to become registered in Florida
Strong experience leading architectural projects and managing project delivery
Confident design leadership skills with strong conceptual and schematic design ability
Solid understanding of construction documentation, consultant coordination, and technical detailing
Ability to manage deadlines, multiple workflows, and client communication effectively
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Experience mentoring and supporting junior staff
Team focused approach with a grounded, collaborative working style
Interest in design, sustainability, and creating well considered spaces
