We’re looking for a Safety Lead to take ownership of the safety department at a leading construction firm in Frederick, MD.

A bit about you:
5+ years of construction safety experience, ideally with a general contractor
OSHA 30-Hour certification required; CPR/First Aid certified
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
Comfortable interacting with executive leadership, including the President and COO
Proficient with safety reporting tools and software
A bit about tasks:
Lead and manage all aspects of the company’s safety program
Conduct jobsite safety audits, training sessions, and incident investigations
Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance and safety planning
Maintain and improve company-wide safety standards and procedures
Represent the safety department in leadership meetings and strategic initiatives
