A bit about you:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field from an accredited program
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington, DC, or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe
3-5 years of professional experience in architectural engineering, focusing on building system design, integration, and analysis
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools
Strong understanding of building codes (ICC, ASCE, AISC, AIA) and construction practices
A bit about tasks:
Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and analyze building systems, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and building envelopes
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and industry best practices
Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, and specifications to ensure clarity and accuracy
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design plans
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
