Project Manager (Mission Critical)
About the company:
There's something different about joining an office at the very beginning. You'll have the backing and project pipeline of an established MEP consultancy while getting the opportunity to influence how its new Dallas operation develops.
The firm has grown quickly within the mission critical and hyperscale data center market and is now investing heavily in its next stage of expansion. They're looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of complex projects and build strong client relationships as the local team grows.
What you'll be doing:
Manage MEP projects across the mission critical and data center market
Take ownership of project scope, schedules, budgets and deliverables
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other design disciplines
Lead projects from design through construction and closeout
Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout delivery
Review designs, RFIs, submittals and construction documentation
Identify project risks and resolve technical or delivery issues
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal engineering teams
Support proposals and business development as the Dallas office expands
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
5+ years of engineering or project management experience
Experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects
Strong understanding of MEP systems and project delivery
Mission critical or data center experience is preferred
Industrial or similarly complex project experience will also be considered
Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
PMP or PE certification would be an advantage
