What you'll be doing:
Lead and manage wood-framed residential projects from inception to completion.
Perform structural analysis and design of wood-framed systems, including shear walls, diaphragms, and framing connections.
Ensure compliance with building codes, including seismic and wind provisions, while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects seamlessly.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and skill development.
Engage with clients through proposal writing, managing relationships, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
Active California Civil P.E. license is required.
3 to 10 years of experience in wood-framed residential structures, with a strong focus on project leadership and design.
Proficiency in structural design principles for wood-framed systems and familiarity with building codes such as CBC and ASCE 7-16.
Skilled in structural analysis software like RISA, ETABS, or similar tools
