This design practice is growing its team in the San Francisco Bay Area and looking for a Principal Landscape Architect to lead on impactful and innovative projects. The studio focuses on sustainable landscapes across a variety of sectors and values design leadership that shapes both projects and studio culture.
What you'll be doing:
• Leading complex landscape projects from concept through construction
• Setting design direction and mentoring junior and mid-level staff
• Acting as a primary client contact and building strong relationships
• Collaborating closely with architects, planners, urban designers, and engineers
• Managing regulatory processes, technical documentation, and construction administration
• Supporting business development through networking and proposals
• Contributing strategically to the studio’s growth and culture
What we're looking for:
• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA)
• At least fifteen years’ experience in landscape architecture
• Licensed Landscape Architect
• Portfolio showing strong design and technical skills across diverse projects
• Proven leadership managing teams and delivering projects on time and budget
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
