What you'll be doing:
Lead and develop the planning team across the Tampa market
Oversee complex planning and entitlement projects
Build relationships with public and private sector clients
Identify new opportunities and support the continued growth of the practice
Provide strategic guidance across zoning, comprehensive planning and development review
Mentor planners and support their professional development
Work closely with engineering, landscape architecture and environmental teams
Lead and support proposals for new projects
Represent the firm at industry and community events
Maintain involvement in major projects throughout Florida
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, City & Regional Planning or a related discipline
AICP certification required
15+ years of professional planning experience
Strong knowledge of Florida planning regulations and development processes
Experience leading planning teams and complex projects
Proven client relationship and business development experience
Strong understanding of zoning, entitlements and comprehensive planning
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience within a consulting or multidisciplinary environment preferred
