What you'll be doing:
Lead MEP estimating on preconstruction projects
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for trade scopes
Create scope sheets and bid tabulation sheets for subcontractor outreach
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids
Prepare progress budgets and cost estimates during preconstruction
Support value engineering, system comparisons, and scope clarifications
Maintain cost history and pricing data for future use
Collaborate with internal teams to align estimating with project goals
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or related field
Several years of experience in MEP estimating or the broader construction industry
At least 2 years of experience with multifamily projects (preferred)
Experience with On Screen Takeoff, Plan Swift, or similar platforms
Knowledge of estimating software, ideally Sage Estimating
Strong math skills, detail orientation, and organizational abilities
Solid understanding of construction documents and mechanical specs
Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
