Mechanical Team Leader

About the company:

Our client is an employee-owned engineering firm with a strong national presence and a collaborative, people-first culture. The buildings team partners closely with architects to bring complex projects to life, and now they’re looking to expand their presence in Denver by adding a Mechanical Team Leader to grow and guide the practice.

What you'll be doing:


  • Build and lead a multi-discipline engineering team

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with regional architectural firms

  • Manage projects from start to finish while providing hands-on design expertise

  • Collaborate with structural, electrical, and other internal teams

  • Use CAD and BIM software (including Revit)

  • Ensure quality standards are met through project reviews, QA/QC processes, and accurate project accounting

  • Travel as needed for client meetings and project work



What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus (ABET-accredited)

  • Licensed Professional Engineer

  • 7–15 years of building design and construction experience

  • Proven experience working directly with architectural clients and managing building design projects

  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems and sustainability principles

  • Skilled in Autodesk Revit and MS Office Suite

  • Confident communicator with experience pursuing and winning new projects

  • A leader interested in building and mentoring a Denver-based engineering team
