Mechanical Team Leader
About the company:
Our client is an employee-owned engineering firm with a strong national presence and a collaborative, people-first culture. The buildings team partners closely with architects to bring complex projects to life, and now they’re looking to expand their presence in Denver by adding a Mechanical Team Leader to grow and guide the practice.
What you'll be doing:
Build and lead a multi-discipline engineering team
Develop and strengthen relationships with regional architectural firms
Manage projects from start to finish while providing hands-on design expertise
Collaborate with structural, electrical, and other internal teams
Use CAD and BIM software (including Revit)
Ensure quality standards are met through project reviews, QA/QC processes, and accurate project accounting
Travel as needed for client meetings and project work
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus (ABET-accredited)
Licensed Professional Engineer
7–15 years of building design and construction experience
Proven experience working directly with architectural clients and managing building design projects
Strong technical knowledge of building systems and sustainability principles
Skilled in Autodesk Revit and MS Office Suite
Confident communicator with experience pursuing and winning new projects
A leader interested in building and mentoring a Denver-based engineering team
