We’re partnering with a long standing engineering firm based in Phoenix with 75+ years in the industry.
They focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems across a wide mix of projects including healthcare, education, aviation, and commercial spaces. The firm has built a loyal client base and is known for its practical approach to energy efficient design. They’re now looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their Phoenix team.
What you'll be doing:
Work with the mechanical team across projects from early concept through to construction
Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to define requirements and develop solutions
Design mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD
Prepare calculations, layouts, and construction documents in line with relevant codes and standards
Support client communication, site visits, and field investigations
Review submittals and stay involved through construction
Guide junior team members and help delegate design tasks
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track
What we're looking for:
Registered PE in Arizona or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program, ideally Architectural Engineering
5+ years in consulting engineering
Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems
Familiar with Trane Trace or HAP for load calculations
Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
Understanding of HVAC layouts, controls, and basic plumbing systems
Comfortable using Excel, Word, and COMcheck
Strong communication skills and a team focused approach
Reliable, proactive, and committed to developing their skills
