What you'll be doing:
Support the design team in developing and progressing creative concepts across a range of projects
Prepare both digital and hand drawings to communicate plans, design details, and key features
Assist with site research, analysis, and project reviews
Contribute to public outreach and collaboration efforts when needed
Produce CAD drawings, concept packages, and construction documentation including permit sets
Help ensure accuracy and consistency across drawing sets
Put together material specifications and assist with technical documentation
Build knowledge of plant materials and support planting plans and schedules
Stay up to date with graphic standards and construction methods
Get involved in construction phase activities and learn how projects come together on site
Work closely with internal teams and external consultants including engineers and planners
Take part in design meetings and build confidence presenting project work
Support improvements to team processes and workflows
Help guide junior designers and interns as you grow into the role
What we're looking for:
A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
Some experience working with hand drawn plans and translating them into digital formats
Comfortable using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with modeling tools such as SketchUp or Lumion
A detail oriented approach and willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Someone who takes initiative and is interested in developing their technical and design skills
