Group Manager of Landscape Architecture

This is a multidisciplinary firm with a strong presence across the Carolinas, known for delivering a steady mix of planning and design work. They’ve built long term client relationships across both public and private sectors, which has led to consistent project flow and the opportunity to work across a broad range of developments. As part of their continued growth, they’re now looking for someone to lead and shape their Landscape Architecture studio.

What you'll be doing:


  • Lead, manage, and mentor a Landscape Architecture and Planning team

  • Oversee day to day studio operations, including staffing and resource planning

  • Manage client relationships and support ongoing business development

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and oversee project financials

  • Represent the firm in public meetings, planning boards, and community engagement

  • Work closely with clients on master planning, site planning, and development projects

  • Guide projects through entitlement, permitting, and delivery

  • Oversee design development, construction documentation, and construction administration

  • Ensure consistent quality across projects in mixed use, residential, commercial, and public spaces

  • Support team growth, hiring, and professional development



What we're looking for:


  • 8+ years of experience in landscape architecture or land planning

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, or a related field preferred

  • Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner preferred

  • Strong experience in site design, master planning, and land development

  • Comfortable leading teams, managing projects, and working with clients

  • Good understanding of entitlement and permitting processes in the Carolinas

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational and financial awareness

  • Clear communication and presentation skills

  • Able to work across a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment
