What you'll be doing:


  • Conduct on-site inspections to document existing conditions and identify damage or failure causes

  • Analyze structural and building envelope systems for performance and integrity

  • Review design drawings, specifications, and construction records to determine cause and origin

  • Develop repair or remediation recommendations grounded in solid engineering judgment

  • Prepare clear, defensible technical reports and present findings to clients

  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining timelines and budgets

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, insurers, and legal professionals as needed

  • Travel locally and regionally for site investigations and assessments



What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure in Colorado

  • At least 5 years of experience in structural design, forensics, or building envelope work

  • Strong understanding of structural systems - steel, concrete, masonry, and wood

  • Comfortable with hands-on field investigations and site evaluations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Curious mindset with a desire to grow in forensic and investigative work
