What you'll be doing:


  • Conduct forensic investigations into structural damage, building envelope failures, and construction defects

  • Perform field assessments of damaged or failed structures (roofing, cladding, framing, etc.)

  • Develop detailed technical reports, including cause-and-origin analyses and repair recommendations

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on integrated investigation strategies

  • Interact directly with clients, insurers, and attorneys to communicate findings and support decision-making



What we're looking for:


  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas

  • BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering

  • 5+ years in structural design/analysis; minimum 1–2 years in forensic engineering

  • Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed construction

  • Strong knowledge of building codes and forensic investigation methods

  • Excellent technical writing and client communication skills
