A bit about you:
5 to 15+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial/industrial focus preferred)
Skilled in quantity takeoffs, subcontractor scope review, and bid analysis
Familiar with construction estimating software (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus but not mandatory
A bit about tasks:
Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects
Review drawings, specs, and project documents to determine material, labor, and time requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
Collaborate with project management and preconstruction teams to evaluate scope and feasibility
Contribute to value engineering efforts and identify cost-effective solutions
