What you'll be doing:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on performance, workload, and professional growth
Serve as Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record on select projects
Oversee construction documents, technical deliverables, and quality control to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
Facilitate regular team meetings for resource planning, project updates, and collaboration across offices
Manage and strengthen client relationships, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Review technical drawings, resolve complex design issues, and support responses to RFIs and field construction questions
Support business development through client retention, proposal writing, and participation in industry events
Partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and revenue tracking
Contribute to office level planning, staffing strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
What we're looking for:
10–20 years of experience in commercial or institutional building design
Active PE or SE license (multi-state preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred)
Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with industry standard software (RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, Microsoft Office suite)
Seismic design experience highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage clients, and deliver high-quality technical outcomes
