What you'll be doing:
Define commissioning scopes and prepare fee estimates for large projects.
Develop preliminary commissioning plans and pre-functional checklists
Create functional test procedures (FTPs) and coordinate their execution with project teams
Schedule and support commissioning events, attending regular project meetings
Witness testing, create punchlists, and help close out client issues
Track project budgets and advise management on scope changes
Compile and issue final commissioning reports
Contribute to department standards and support client relations and business development
Handle ad-hoc projects as needed
What they're looking for:
1-15 years of experience in designing, operating, or commissioning complex mechanical systems
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the sciences, or equivalent technical training
Professional credentials such as BCxP, CxA, CBCP, CEM, or LEED AP
Commitment to ongoing professional growth through industry seminars or development programs
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, testing and commissioning processes, and industry codes and standards
Ability to work independently on technical matters and collaborate on larger projects
Proficiency with project commissioning documents and tools, including Facility Grid
Familiarity with LEED processes and the ability to support project-specific LEED goals
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
